- We have purchased Mr. Coffee for years and enjoyed the simplicity of the unit and it makes good coffee. However, this unit only lasted 8 mon. before it quit working. Previous Mr. Coffees have lasted us at least 2 yrs. However, we are not giving up on this coffeemaker due to fact it is reasonably priced. So we are ordering one more and if this one doesn't last longer we will be changing brands.
- It's even better than the original Mr. Coffee maker I had that lasted 22 years. But hey! If you're sentimental for that pot you had to let go of, THIS ONE is still a Mr. Coffee!! May it last at least as long! This is easy to program... Like to set up the start time (delay) to when you would like for coffee to be ready when you'd like it. No glitches. You know my original Mr. Coffee I rarely ever unplugged so I'm doing the same with this. Having it ready for when you go to get a cup in the morning can only happen IF you leave it plugged in right? I know you could unplug it for the day then plug it back in then fix the clock to say correct time then do the delay time for when you want coffee made and ready but why? You can just get it all set when you are done with pot n clean pitcher and hit delay button and the time is already put in. Aye? (instructions say shut off AND unplug (momma Mia!!!) It's perfect!
